How to set up your Twin Cheeks Cushion
“The last cushion you’ll ever have to buy.”
The Twin Cheeks Patented Pelvic Pain Cushion features two independent foam panels support the fleshy part of your buttocks.
Your sit bones rest just inside the open channel between them.
Your tailbone, perineum, and pudendal nerve pathway sit suspended in that channel — with the pressure redirected away from the areas that hurt.
It's a patented design. And it's the reason people who've tried every cushion on the market keep coming back to this one.

We make two. The Twin Cheeks is our flagship — two adjustable panels with an open channel. It works for the vast majority of conditions, and is what we recommend for almost everyone. The Simple Soother is a more affordable single-cushion option for central-only discomfort with no tailbone involvement. Still not sure? Just ask.

The panels need to be firm enough to hold your weight — if they compress too much, the channel closes and you lose the benefit. Here's a general guide:
Soft — under 120 lbs
Medium — 120 lbs to 150 lbs
Medium Plus — 130 lbs to 180 lbs (supportive base with a softer top layer)
Firm — 170 lbs to 200 lbs
Extra Firm — 200 lbs and up
Extra Cush 3" — over 150 lbs, extra support with a layer of extra soft foam on top
Low Profile — available in Medium Plus, Firm, and Extra Firm in a shorter profile, great for cars
Your cushion may feel quite firm at first but will soften and conform to your body within a couple weeks of use. Not sure? Just ask. We help people choose every day and are happy to exchange if needed.

Same adjustable dual-panel design, different height. The Standard is taller and works well for desk chairs and everyday use. The Low Profile sits only 1.5" off the seat, folds smaller, and is better suited for car seats or anyone who doesn't want to sit higher. Now available in Medium Plus and Firm in addition to Extra Firm.
